Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups uncooked elbow macaroni
- 2 tablespoons of butter
- 2 tablespoons of flour
- 2 cups of whole milk
- 2 cups of shredded sharp cheddar
- 1/2 cup of sour cream
- 1/2 teaspoon of garlic salt (can use regular) and black pepper, each
- 1-2 tablespoons of Franks original hot sauce
- 6 slices of bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 3/4 cup panko bread crumbs
Directions
- Cook macaroni according to package directions, to al dente
- Melt butter in a saucepan and stir in flour, cooking for about 2 minutes
- Add milk, one cup at a time, stirring continuously until well blended
- Add shredded cheese, one cup at a time, stirring until well blended
- Add sour cream followed by seasonings
- Pour cheese sauce over cooked noodles and stir well then place into casserole dish or cast iron skillet
- Top with panko and crumbled bacon
- Place on grill grate in already hot Po Man and cook for 1 hour
